Mental Health America's Advocacy Network- Coming to Your Email Mailbox!

If you subscribe to the PA Children’s News monthly email newsletter, you have been automatically subscribed to the Mental Health Association in Pennsylvania (MHAPA) and Mental Health America’s Action Network.

The Action Network is a very effective and easy way to make your voice heard to decision makers.  Any time there is a hot issue around mental health, you will receive an email from MHAPA (state issues) or Mental Health America (national issues). The issue is described in the email, and a link is included for action. When you click the link, you are given a letter already written about the issue. All you do is supply your personal information, including zip code, and click send. Your letter will automatically be sent to the appropriate parties, your elected officials or others as applicable. No more searching for contact information, the Advocacy Network process does it for you.

We hope you enjoy this convenient and powerful opportunity to keep children’s mental health issues in the forefront of policy and budget decisions. If you don’t want to be a member of the Advocacy Network, please click unsubscribe at the bottom of the email when you receive.

Mental Health America was formally known as the National Mental Health Association and is the national organization affiliated with MHAPA. MHAPA hosts PA Children’s News. Need more information or help? Email Wendy Luckenbill.
