Education Law Center – Family Training on Special Education Rights (13 locations)

Learn about new state rules that can help children with disabilities. This is a Webinar and audio-teleconferenced update on recent State-level developments affecting the educational rights of children with disabilities.

Topics include:

  1. Revisions to the PA Special Education Regulations (Ch. 14)
  2. New rules about positive behavior supports, restraints, and police referrals
  3. New State policies on interagency planning for children with behavioral health needs and education in partial hospitalization programs
  4. New rules for inclusion of children with disabilities in vocational education programs

Locations: Thirteen (13) locations around Pennsylvania including Arcadia University (Glenside), Altoona, Camp Hill/Shiremanstown, DuBois, Erie, Fox Chapel (Total Learning Centers), Murrysville (Total Learning Centers), Philadelphia, Pittsburgh (ACHIEVA), Schnecksville (Carbon-Lehigh IU #21), Scranton (NEPA CIL), Washington, and Wexford (Total Learning Centers).

Audience: People with some prior knowledge about special education rules and regulations in PA.
